I loved this book. Lily was such a strong lady both emotionally and physically and I was so impressed with the way she handled herself in the situations she was in. I had read the Glass Castle a few years ago; I really enjoyed hearing about Rosemary's childhood in this book, I think it helped set the stage for The Glass Castle. I didn't want to put this book down, I couldn't wait to see what happened next.

I really enjoyed this book. I couldn't believe how she set off by herself on horseback for her teaching job. She was so brave. The book made me want to read The Glass Castle again to see if I could find any other links with Rosemary. I think Lily was just amazing.
